Under the pressure of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hong Kong government expanded a number of testing sites, from government general outpatient clinics to third-party testing centers, and introduced leading companies in the mainland testing industry, “BGI Group” and “Zhongjian”, to respond to the large number of nucleic acid testing needs.
In order to increase detection throughput, detection accuracy, and reduce the price of detection services, Hong Kong Zhongjian Genomics has successively purchased 2 sets of VERSA 10 PCR system construction workstations from Aurora from 2020 to 2021. The VERSA10 PCR workstation and easily fit on any countertop, it can speed up the RT-PCR construction process and automated the nucleic acid extraction process of saliva samples in large quantities.
